Eagle River Wolves multisport standout, Sarah Johnson, is making a name for herself in the world of girls' flag football. With college programs on the rise, Johnson is now focusing on flag football as a potential pathway to a scholarship. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is one of the top Power 4 schools set to launch its inaugural 2028 season. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, is also a prime target. Additionally, Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are actively recruiting flag football talent. Johnson's next step is to create a highlight tape showcasing her skills and share it with these programs. By doing so, she'll be taking a crucial step towards making her college dreams a reality.
