FridayNightPulse Training Tip: Shiloh Christian Saints TE Drill

๐Ÿ“ Shiloh Christian SaintsยทTuesday, July 14, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

This summer, 4A TE players at Shiloh Christian Saints can dominate on the field with the 'Route Runner' drill. Set up a 10-yard course with cones and have players start at the 5-yard line. On the whistle, they must sprint 5 yards, then quickly change direction to run a 3-yard out route, finishing with a 2-yard acceleration to the end zone. Perform 3 sets of 5 reps, resting 60 seconds between sets. Coaching cues include 'Fast feet, slow hands' and 'Change of direction, change of speed.' This drill translates to game performance by improving agility, acceleration, and ball-tracking skills. By mastering the 'Route Runner,' TE players will be ready to create separation and make big plays down the field.
