Hamilton S Austin Moore Commits to Houston Cougars
Hamilton S Austin Moore has committed to the University of Houston Cougars. Moore, a 6A safety in the Class of 2025, will join the Cougars' secondary. The Huskies' scheme, which emphasizes aggressive play and blitz packages, aligns with Houston's defensive system. Moore projects as a nickelback or safety in the Cougars' 3-4 base defense. He will compete for playing time in a secondary that returns several starters. The University of Houston offers a strong academic program, with a 94% job placement rate for graduates. Moore had previously committed to the University of Arizona but reopened his recruitment in April. He chose the Cougars over offers from SMU and Tulane. Moore will attend Houston's summer camp in July to begin his transition to the program.
