Valor Christian Eagles Flag Football Players Target Nebraska's 2028 Inaugural Season
As the University of Nebraska prepares to launch its inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football season in 2028, prospects from Valor Christian Eagles in Highlands Ranch are taking notice. Coached by the renowned Sowers sisters, Liz and Katie, the Cornhuskers are expected to be a major player in the Big Ten. Nebraska's 12 scholarships will be highly competitive, but for top flag football talent from Colorado, it's an opportunity too good to pass up. To increase their chances, Valor Christian Eagles players should focus on developing their skills through summer camps and highlight tapes. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer NAIA flag football scholarships, with Ottawa University offering up to 12. Midland University, Nebraska, is another active recruiter. UT Arlington is in development, but not yet offering scholarships.
