The Kahuku Red Raiders are gaining national attention with the emergence of Class of 2026 cornerback Jalen Taylor. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back has caught the eye of college scouts, most notably Ohio State, which extended a scholarship offer to Taylor during the summer. Taylor's impressive speed and agility have been on display during Kahuku's summer camps, where he has consistently been clocked at 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He has also shown exceptional ball-hawking skills, with a reported 10 interceptions in the past year. Taylor has also received offers from UCLA, USC and Oregon. With his impressive measurables and on-field performance, Taylor is expected to be one of the top recruits in Hawaii for the Class of 2026. Taylor plans to take official visits to Ohio State and UCLA in the coming months, with a decision expected by the end of the year.
