Westfield Shamrocks QB Isaiah Johnson Commits to Kansas State
Isaiah Johnson, a Class of 2026 quarterback from Westfield, Indiana, has committed to Kansas State University. Johnson, a standout signal-caller for the 5A Westfield Shamrocks, chose the Wildcats over other Power Five suitors. Kansas State's Air Raid offense, which is led by head coach Chris Klieman, is expected to be a good fit for Johnson's skills. The Wildcats' depth chart at quarterback is currently wide open, giving Johnson an opportunity to compete for the starting role immediately. Kansas State's academic program, which is known for its strong engineering and business programs, is also a major draw for Johnson. Johnson previously committed to Purdue in March but decommitted in May to explore other options. The Shamrocks will look to replace Johnson's leadership in the upcoming season.
