Jalen Harris Commits to UTSA
Edna Karr Cougars tight end Jalen Harris has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio, the school announced Thursday. Harris, a 4A standout in the LHSAA, chose the Roadrunners over other Division I offers. The Class of 2025 product fits UTSA's scheme, which often features multiple tight ends in the passing game. Harris's athleticism and size make him an ideal fit for the Roadrunners' offense. The Cougars' tight end position was relatively thin last season, and Harris's commitment should bolster UTSA's depth chart. Harris also cited UTSA's strong academic program as a major factor in his decision. Harris previously committed to another school but reopened his recruitment in May. He is expected to enroll at UTSA in the fall of 2025.
