Darius Williams Commits to Kansas State
Darius Williams, a 2027 offensive lineman from John Curtis Patriots in La., has committed to Kansas State University, the school announced Thursday. Williams, a 4A prospect, chose the Wildcats due to their strong emphasis on developing linemen in their zone-blocking scheme. He believes Kansas State's depth chart will allow him to contribute immediately. The school's strong academic program, which offers a range of engineering and business courses, also factored into his decision. Williams, who had previously committed to LSU in 2025 but decommitted in January 2026, cited Kansas State's coaching staff and facilities as key selling points. Williams' commitment is a significant get for the Wildcats, who are looking to bolster their 2027 recruiting class. He is expected to enroll at Kansas State in the fall of 2027 and participate in the team's summer camp.
