Notre Dame Extends Offer to St. Augustine's Jayden Allen

Notre Dame has extended an offer to Class of 2026 cornerback Jayden Allen of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. Allen, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back, recorded 45 tackles and 12 pass breakups as a sophomore. He also returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown. Allen has already received offers from Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss. The Purple Knights' shutdown corner is expected to draw more attention from top programs in the coming months. Allen's recruitment is expected to heat up this summer as he attends camps at Notre Dame, Alabama and LSU. He plans to make official visits to Notre Dame and LSU in August, with a decision potentially coming after his senior season.
