St. Augustine Purple Knights Hire New Offensive Line Coach

The St. Augustine Purple Knights, a 4A program from New Orleans, have hired David LaGrange as their new offensive line coach. LaGrange, a veteran coach with 10 years of experience, replaces longtime coach Michael Thompson. The Purple Knights finished 7-4 last season and are looking to build on that momentum. LaGrange's hiring is seen as a key move in the program's bid to compete with top 4A teams in the state. The Purple Knights will look to improve their running game and protect quarterback Ryan Jenkins, a key returning starter. LaGrange's experience coaching in the LHSAA will be beneficial in recruiting top talent in the New Orleans area.
