Trevon Hall Commits to University of Houston
Trevon Hall, a 2026 linebacker prospect from Detroit King Crusaders, has committed to the University of Houston. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Hall chose the Cougars over offers from several other Power Five programs. Houston's 4-3 scheme, which emphasizes speed and athleticism, aligns with Hall's strengths as a tackling machine and pass rusher. The Cougars' linebacking corps is expected to be a major area of focus in the 2026 season, and Hall is projected to contribute immediately. Additionally, Houston's strong academic program, which offers a range of business and engineering majors, appealed to Hall's academic interests. Hall had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April, allowing him to explore other options. He is expected to sign with the Cougars in December.
