West Point Green Wave Breaks Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade

The West Point Green Wave, a 5A program in Mississippi, has officially broken ground on a $3 million facility upgrade. The project, expected to be completed by the start of the season, will feature a renovated weight room, updated locker rooms and a state-of-the-art video analysis room. The upgrade comes after a 7-4 season in 2025, marking the program's third consecutive winning campaign. The Green Wave will look to build on that momentum with a strong recruiting class, which features several top prospects from the state. The facility upgrade is expected to give the program a competitive edge, particularly in the 5A South division, where the Green Wave will face off against perennial powerhouses like Ocean Springs and Gautier.
