Jayden Anderson Commits to UTSA
Omaha Burke quarterback Jayden Anderson has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners, the school announced in a statement. Anderson, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose UTSA over other Division I offers. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller is expected to fit into the Roadrunners' spread offense, where he can utilize his strong arm and athleticism. Anderson's commitment comes after a productive summer camp session, where he showcased his ability to read defenses and make accurate throws. He is listed as a three-star prospect by multiple recruiting services. Anderson will join a UTSA program that is rebuilding its depth chart at the quarterback position, giving him an opportunity to compete for playing time early in his career. The Roadrunners' strong academic program was also a factor in Anderson's decision, as he plans to pursue a degree in business administration.
