Millard South's Carson Harris Makes History with Power 4 Offer
Millard South Patriots safety Carson Harris has made a name for himself in the Nebraska high school football scene, and it's not just because of his impressive speed. Harris averaged 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NSAA's annual Combine, one of the fastest times in the state. This summer, the Class of 2026 standout became the first player from Millard South to earn a Power 4 offer, joining the ranks of some of the top programs in the region. As a sophomore, Harris recorded 45 tackles and 3 interceptions, earning him a spot on the Omaha World-Herald's All-Nebraska second team. Harris' versatility on the field and his ability to read defenses have scouts taking notice. What they're watching for this summer is how Harris adapts to a more complex defensive scheme and whether he can continue to make plays on the ball in space.
