The Canandaigua Braves' Carson Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker, has received an offer from the University of Florida. Johnson, who recorded 120 tackles and 10 sacks as a junior, has also been offered by Syracuse and Penn State. He is considered one of the top linebackers in the state, with a 4.7 40-yard dash time and a 30-inch vertical jump. Johnson's offer from Florida is a significant development in his recruitment, as the Gators are known for their strong linebacking corps. As Johnson enters his senior year, he will continue to draw attention from top programs. His recruiting timeline is heating up, with a decision expected in the fall. Johnson will also participate in the upcoming NYSPHSAA Football Coaches' Clinic, where he will showcase his skills in front of college coaches from across the country.
