Hunter Thomas Commits to Kansas State Wildcats
La Salle Academy running back Hunter Thomas has committed to the Kansas State Wildcats, further bolstering the team's backfield depth. Thomas, a Class of 2026 standout, chose Kansas State over other Division I offers. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound back is expected to fit seamlessly into the Wildcats' high-powered offense, which averages 35 points per game. Thomas' commitment also provides a boost to the team's depth chart, where he will compete for a starting role alongside returning backs. Kansas State's academic program, which boasts a 95% graduation rate, was also a major draw for Thomas. He had previously committed to another program but decommitted after re-evaluating his options. The Rams' backfield will now look to fill the void left by Thomas' departure. Thomas is expected to enroll at Kansas State in the fall of 2026.
