Tollgate Titans Flag Football Prospect Draws Attention from Nebraska and NAIA Programs
Warwick's Tollgate Titans are looking to make a statement in the inaugural 2028 season of University of Nebraska's NCAA D1 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. According to sources, local prospect Emily Johnson has drawn verified interest from the Cornhuskers. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also reached out to Johnson, citing their commitment to growing the sport and offering up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, has also expressed interest in the talented athlete. UT Arlington, a developing program, has not yet begun offering scholarships. For Johnson and other aspiring flag football players, this summer's camp season and upcoming recruiting events provide opportunities to make a lasting impression on college coaches and secure a spot on a top program.
