Jalen White Commits to Texas Tech
La Salle Academy quarterback Jalen White has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. White, a Class of 2026 standout, chose the Big 12 program after considering several Division I offers. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller is expected to compete for a backup role behind incumbent starter Tyler Shough, who enters his final season of eligibility. White's decision to commit to Texas Tech was influenced by the Red Raiders' pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset. The La Salle Academy Rams' quarterback also cited the university's strong academic programs, including its renowned engineering school, as a major factor in his decision. White previously held offers from several Power Five programs, but ultimately chose to join the Texas Tech family.
