Darius Thomas Commits to TCU
Salem Spartans running back Darius Thomas has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs. The Class of 2025 standout, who rushed for 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior, chose TCU over offers from Virginia Tech and Louisville. Thomas cited TCU's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision, noting the Horned Frogs' system will allow him to showcase his skills as a versatile back. He also praised the school's academic program, saying it will provide him with a strong foundation for future success. Thomas decommitted from Virginia Tech in February after a coaching change, but says he has been in contact with TCU's coaching staff throughout the process. He is expected to enroll at TCU in January 2025 and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
