Highland Springs Springers Girls Flag Football Recruits Target Verified Scholarship Programs

As VHSL expands its flag football pilot district, Highland Springs Springers athletes are eyeing verified scholarship pathways. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is set to launch its inaugural 2028 season with Power 4 status. Nebraska offers D1 scholarships, making it a prime target for Springers recruits. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 NAIA scholarships, is also a viable option. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are active recruiters in the NAIA, while UT Arlington is developing its D1 program.
