Burlington Sea Horses Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade
The Burlington Sea Horses, a Division I program in the Vermont high school football landscape, officially broke ground on a $3 million facility upgrade Friday. The project, expected to be completed by the start of the season, will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, a renovated weight room and a turf field. The upgrade comes on the heels of a 6-4 season last year, where the Sea Horses narrowly missed the playoffs. The program has been actively recruiting in the region, with a focus on retaining local talent and attracting top prospects from neighboring schools. The facility upgrade is expected to give the Sea Horses a competitive edge, allowing them to better prepare for the upcoming season and potentially make a deeper run in the playoffs.
