Bridgeport's Caleb Moore: From ACL to Starting Left Tackle
Bridgeport Indians Class of 2025 offensive lineman Caleb Moore has earned a starting role on the team after overcoming a season-ending ACL injury in 2023. In the Indians' spring game, Moore logged 35 consecutive snaps without a penalty, showcasing his improved strength and agility. The 6-foot-3, 265-pound tackle is expected to be a key component of the Indians' AA-level offense, which averaged 24.5 points per game last season. Moore's rehabilitation process included intense physical therapy and strength training, allowing him to regain his pre-injury form. As a result, he is now competing for a starting spot alongside senior right tackle, Tyler Jenkins. Moore's determination and work ethic have not gone unnoticed by college scouts, who are keeping a close eye on his progress this summer. Scouts are watching for Moore to maintain his physicality and technique throughout the season, as well as his ability to adapt to different defensive schemes.
