Malik Anderson Commits to Army Football
Malik Anderson, a Class of 2026 linebacker from George Washington High School in Charleston, West Virginia, has committed to play football at the United States Military Academy, Army. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Anderson chose Army for its athletic and academic opportunities. The Black Knights' 3-4 defensive scheme fits Anderson's skillset, and he is expected to compete for a starting position as a freshman. Army's academic program and reputation for producing well-rounded graduates also appealed to Anderson. He had previously committed to another school, but reopened his recruitment in April. Anderson's commitment to Army marks a significant addition to the Black Knights' 2026 recruiting class. The George Washington Patriots' standout linebacker is expected to report to West Point in June 2026 for summer training.
