Michigan Extends Offer to Natrona County QB Noah Thompson
The University of Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2026 quarterback Noah Thompson of Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyoming. Thompson, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound signal-caller, has already garnered attention from several top programs, including Nebraska and Colorado State. He led the Mustangs to a 7-3 record in 2023, throwing for 2,157 yards and 18 touchdowns, while also rushing for 434 yards and 7 scores. Thompson's impressive performance has earned him a spot on the 2023 All-State team. The Mustangs are expected to be a top contender in the 4A classification this fall. With the offer from Michigan, Thompson's recruitment is expected to heat up in the coming months. The quarterback is set to attend the University of Wyoming's summer football camp later this month, where he will be evaluated by college coaches. A decision on his college destination is expected to be made in the winter of 2026, with National Signing Day set for February 7, 2027.
