Elijah Anderson Commits to University of Houston

Sheridan Broncs wide receiver Elijah Anderson has committed to the University of Houston for the Class of 2025. The 4A standout chose the Cougars over other Division I offers. Anderson, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver, is expected to fill a need at the slot position in Houston's spread offense. With the departure of several receivers from last season's team, Anderson should have an opportunity to contribute early in his career. The University of Houston's strong academic programs in business and engineering also made it an attractive option for Anderson, who carries a 3.5 GPA. Anderson had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April. He is expected to enroll at Houston in the fall of 2025.
